Highlights of K2 - the powerful content component for Joomla!

One of the presentations that took place in JoomlaDay Greece was the case study of a very demanding K2 website, FIGHTSAGA.COM. The concept was to study this site from the design process, all the way through the development process. Our main target was to make people understand the significance of K2 as a tool to achieve such demanding websites as this one. Let's start from the beginning.

"User Extended Fields for K2" extends the user profile of K2 with additional contact and social details.

Download, install and activate the plugin and all your site's users will be able to add their expanded contact and social details in their profiles, using K2's profile page.

A K2 plugin that extends the K2 user profile page and author blocks (wherever it's displayed within K2) with additional contact or social details. You can fully control what's displayed or not. Especially in the case of intranets, K2 can be used as a personnel directory using this handy plugin.
