Blogsten is a Joomla component that supports rich email content directly to K2 content along with other Joomla components such as Kunena, Easyblog and Joomla articles. You can directly email, SMS or MMS your content to your K2 build site including photos, html and attachments. It is available for Joomla 3.3 and higher.
As an administrator, maintain complete control over your site as you receive an alert email everytime content is submitted to your site. You can easily unpublish, publish, feature or delete any content directly from your email inbox with the click of a button! You can also allow your users to blog easily without having to login to any website. If you like, they receive an alert when their mail is received as well. Publish control for them is optional.
Blogsten is an enterprise level fork of the component PowerMail and was built to connect with any Joomla component via plugins. Given that the number one request for PowerMail was for it to include K2 functionality, this was the first plugin built for Blogsten.
As the name itself says, it filters out the content. It is a Joomla! plugin which filters the content of an article according to users' Joomla! usergroup. There are several cases when you want to show some content to particular type of users and want to hide some content from particular type of users. Content Filter plugin does exactly same as above mentioned. It filters the content of Joomla Article, K2 item or any other content which trigger the event "onContentPrepare". Currently it is tested with these two extensions only. We'll update the list of supported extensions as testing gets completed.
We've created a great new K2 compatible tool for people who build Joomla! websites. It's called Joomla! Site Planner and it's designed to help you get content from your clients and content providers.
Anyone who builds websites knows it can be challenging getting content for it from the person you're building it for or the people who work for them. Site planner shows them an interactive site map of the site, shows them where the content gaps are and allows them to email you the content!
It's simple and intuitive to use and makes building beautiful Joomla! websites even easier.
Show your clients a simple site map of their site
Red icons show where you still need content
Email the content from the sitemap straight to your developers or Basecamp!
With the Content Uploader you can upload data from an Excel document directly into K2 items. Each row in Excel converts into an K2 item. Set your own limit for the amount of articles you can upload and also use as many columns as you like in Excel! In the configuration you define which column of our spreadsheet goes where in K2. All sorts of content are supported: article content, extra fields, tags etc.
K2 is an incredibly powerful and flexible extension that allows for stunning control of your Joomla content. This module is based on the standard K2 content display module. Rather than display all items with a category/tag, this module displays content that is associated with the currently viewed K2 item.
This means that there is no need to create or modify a K2 template to be able to display item content differently. You can position selected K2 content in a module position rather than in the content area. The module supports multiple instance on a single page which means you can now display selected content wherever you want on the page.
