Hello dear friends,
I am running a newspaper website on Joomla 2.5 + JA TELINE IV + K2 (all the latest versions) on a Hostgator VPS server..

the website contains for about 25.000 K2 items, and approximately 100 items are being added daily.

The website is too slow, it opens other pages in 8-10 sec. and my hosting operators told me that the slow speed is because of K2 and JA TELINE.

Please help me to optimize the website script, or give me an advice to speed up the website...

William White ( Moderator ) OFFLINE Moderator Posts: 644	Interesting, the home page loads fast for me, menu links take a while....seems that module on front page do their thing, but menu links slow down.... I would put it in debug mode to see whats going on when the differetn pages load
