SIG PRO [sic] v1.2 was created by Lefteris
Its cache mechanism is a menace, should carry a Government Health Warning and, preferably an OptOutCompletely command line switch. It's awful. It doesn't 'work'... Well, not as far as I've managed to observe;~| I also believe it is actually counter-productive but haven't been able to fully determine this because of all the other issues/problems with SIG PRO [sic] v1.2.

Do you want me to file bug reports somewhere else, here or not at all? If you DO actually want to fix them would it be easier to manage if I put each in a separate thread or in one massive posting? This isn't something I'd have the sheer cheek to actually sell one of my customers, SIG PRO [sic] v1.2 is little more than an Alpha (in-house testing only).

----best wishes, Robert

You have to understand that not all server environments are the same. There is good hosting and there is bad hosting. If your case is a badly configured server, then that does not mean that SIG Pro is crap. Obviously from the posts of other people in here you can understand that this is not the majority.

We're preparing 1.3 which will optimize the "caching" mechanism a bit. But if you're host is a bad host, then I'd suggest you switch hosting company.  ;)

ALL our extensions are STABLE versions. Period.

You haven't answered a SINGLE question that I raised!

At no point did I query the stability of this product.

I wish to adopt SIG PRO here on my site but its use is limited by serious flaws.

I built my server by hand from the ground up. I am my own host and ISP.  I operate and maintain the server personally.

Do you have a date for the real and actual arrival of this product improvement (v1.3) as elsewhere I read of a particular Friday long past.

----best wishes, Robert

Mail me at the support addresses you already got when you purchased the product and I will arrange to set you up a prerelease. Don't get me wrong, but the fact that you setup your server yourself, does not mean it's setup properly with all the usual "hosting-default" modules and settings.
